We often frequent The St Regis/The Monarch Beach Resort now known as The Waldorf, for dinners, spa and vacations and know this is not proper service for this area or caliber of venue. Montage, if this is you, peruse my other reviews on Yelp. We noticed no hand soap for weeks on end. Worth noting, the accompanying restrooms are frequently out of supplies. One of these same vagrants was later removed from the property after our report after it caused a yoga class to be moved out of safety fears, only for him to be back again twice since that day that we have seen. My partner and I were there for Easter too and multiple vagrants were in their below pool bathroom for more than 30 minutes, sharing drugs, ruining the vibe of the upscale $240/pp Easter brunch next door and patrons enjoying their Easter walks. There are often vagrants which make using the facilities dangerous without any protection. What is the purpose of even having the cameras then? Especially the one over the pay station IN the garage? For the ILLUSION of safety? This evidences how poor this portion of the resort is managed and how unsafe it is. We were told via police investigation that no footage exists in the parking garage which is either inefficiency or manipulation or a combination of both. All on the same day the resort was having their height warning sign altered with 2 of their staff in the garage. Unfortunately our vehicle was involved in a hit and run incident within the Lot 8 garage directly underneath their pay station camera far from the ingress and egress cameras. We are daily guests of the resort, walking and doing yoga there frequently. This review is based on poor experiences on the walking grounds of the resort and their parking structure, Lot 8 located on Wesley Drive.
